The cleaning points for stereo microscopes mainly include the following aspects:

Cleaning tools and materials:

Optical components (such as objective lenses and eyepieces) should use professional cleaning tools such as blowers, lens paper, lens cleaning fluid and lens paper. Avoid using ordinary paper towels or cloths as they may scratch the lenses.

The body can be wiped with a soft dry cloth or a slightly damp cotton cloth.

Cleaning steps:

Optical components: First blow away the dust with a blower, then dip a small amount of lens cleaning fluid with lens paper and gently wipe the surface of the lens. Note that the wiping action should be gentle to avoid damaging the lens with excessive force.

Body: Use a soft dry cloth or a slightly damp cotton cloth to remove dust and stains.

Optical path system: Use a blower to blow away the dust, and never use solutions such as alcohol to clean the inside of the optical path system.
Stage: Wipe the stage with a dust-free cloth to remove sample residues.

Precautions:

Avoid using water: Stereo microscopes must never be cleaned with water, as water can corrode metal parts, affect lens imaging quality, and even damage internal electronic components. If the stereo microscope is accidentally stained with water, it should be wiped clean immediately with a soft dry cloth and placed in a dry and ventilated place.
Use designated cleaning agents: It is recommended to use professional optical cleaners or anhydrous ethanol and dilute to about 70% with distilled water. Avoid using aggressive chemicals such as acetone or ammonium-containing solvents.
Standard operation: Use the microscope strictly in accordance with the operating procedures to avoid collisions and vibrations. Store in a dry, ventilated, dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and corrosive gases.
By following these cleaning points, you can effectively extend the service life of the stereo microscope and maintain its.
