XSP-100B is the quintessential microscope for students beginning and expanding their skills in the world of microscopy. It has all the professional-level features they'd need to make their skills transferable, should they decide to pursue post-secondary education in the sciences.
The XSP-100B microscope is a compound microscope built to allow students to examine their specimens at a comfortable posture with a 30-degree ocular angle, and a microscope head that flexibly rotates 360 degrees, making in-class collaboration a breeze.
Features
A plain stage with two spring-loaded stage clips to help retain the slides.
An optional mechanical slide holder is available. We recommend this slide holder as it makes slide handling significantly easier for both younger children and teenagers alike.
Includes rack and pinion design for durability and coaxial coarse and fine focus controls, allowing a student to constantly keep their eyes on their specimen. This enhances student engagement and creates a sustained interest in the microscope.
A rack stop for increased safety. It ensures that the stage does not interfere with the objectives. This prevents potentially expensive slide breakage.
A slip clutch control to mitigate the risk of damaging the focus controls through overextension.
